They say blue and green should never be seen together, but Mljet is a great argument against it. The pretty island of Miljet is the greenest in Dalmatia as it’s almost entirely covered in dense pine forest with large tracts protected by national park and the rest of the island dotted with small villages and vineyards. According to legend Miljet captivated Odysseus for seven-years and today it’s serenity and the scenic salt-water lakes captivate many modern tourists.
