Day 1 Zadar
Check in at Zadar port from 17.00hrs. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore Zadar or you can join a sightseeing tour starting at 17.30hrs. For centuries Zadar has been a city of rich monumental heritage with a prime position at the centre of the East Adriatic. Don't miss the Byzantine style church of St Donatus which dates back to the 9th century AD and has become a symbol of the city. There is also the Roman forum that were constructed between the 1st and 3rd century AD, the mighty city walls and gates, as well as special interest features such as the Zadar Sea Organ and 'Greetings to the Sun' light installation. At night, relax and soak up the atmosphere at one of the many great restaurants in town. BL
Day 2 Zadar – Molat or Olib
Depart early for the island of Molat or Olib (depending on available space in the islands small harbours). Molat is situated in the northern part of Zadar's archipelago. The peace and serenity of this island, untouched by tourism and with minimal infrastructure, is a great place to unwind. The island of Olib has numerous beautiful beaches which you will notice as soon as you come ashore. Tonight, feast on a Captain's dinner on board and get to know your fellow travellers. BLD
Day 3 Molat or Olib – Ilovik – Losinj
After breakfast and a morning swim, enjoy a brief stop at Ilovik, affectionately known as the island of flowers. You then carry on cruising to Mali Losinj, the largest town on Losinj island. Scattered with pine forests and small pebbly beaches with clear blue waters, this popular destination has the charm of a typical Mediterranean town. Walk along the harbour or take a night swim at Cikat beach. You may like to visit the nearby picturesque village of Veli Losinj (only 5 km away and easily reachable by foot). Overnight in Mali Losinj. BL
Day 4 Losinj – Cres
Begin the day with a morning dip before setting off for Cres. Once connected to Mali Losinj, prior to the Romans digging up a narrow channel to separate them, Cres today is a long and narrow island with a rugged chain of oak and beech forests. Here you will also find many vineyards and olive tree plantations. During your stay, stop by the old city centre to see the Venetian tower and remnants of the city wall before spending the night in the port of Cres. BL
Day 5 Cres – Opatija
This morning, sail towards Opatija. Enjoy the beautiful view of the famous Opatija Riviera before arriving in the late afternoon. On arrival in port you will have the option to join a walking tour of Opatija. You could take a stroll along the famous Lungo Mare pathway to the fishing village of Volosko, which is well known for good seafood restaurants, or perhaps enjoy a farewell party on the ship. BL
Day 6 Opatija
After breakfast it is time to say goodbye to the crew and all your new friends! B
