Wonders of Croatia 2020 (Zadar - Dubrovnik)

DAY 1 ZADAR
Welcome to Zadar! Embarkation is from 14.00hrs and over a welcome drink and a snack, get to know your fellow passengers and Cruise Director. Enjoy an afternoon at your leisure to explore this ancient city at leisure before dinner on board. (D)

DAY 2 ZADAR - SIBENIK
Spend the morning exploring this Venetian city on an optional walking tour taking in the sights of the Roman forum, the pre-Romanesque church of St. Donatus and St. Anastasia cathedral - the largest cathedral in Dalmatia. In the afternoon cruise to the port of Sibenik, famous for the immense fortress of St. Michael. Join an optional walking tour of Sibenik to experience the rich history of this old town. In the evening navigate the stone alleys at your leisure and perhaps sample some great local cuisine. (B, L)

DAY 3 SIBENIK - TROGIR - SPLIT
Today you will continue on to the small, bridged island of Trogir. Join an afternoon optional walking tour or explore at your leisure and see the stunning architecture of this city founded upon Greek and Roman heritage. Continue your journey to the historical town of Split. Soak up the local culture on your own or join the optional walking tour to learn about the Diocletian's Palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today a lively city centre. (B, L)

DAY 4 SPLIT - HVAR
Choose to spend the morning in Split exploring at your leisure, or take an optional excursion to Omis to explore the Cetina River canyon in a boat excursion. Leaving Split, cruise to the island of Hvar, an island with the most UNESCO-listed heritage sites. Consider joining the optional Hvar walking tour to learn more about this historical site. (B, D)

DAY 5 HVAR - KORCULA
Depart Hvar in the morning for Korcula, one of the largest islands in the Adriatic. Once a Venetian stronghold, there are still remnants to this day, such as the stunning stonework architecture and many iconic lion statues. Consider joining the optional walking tour to learn about the supposed home of the famous Marco Polo. (B, L)

DAY 6 KORCULA - MLJET - SLANO
Leaving Korcula, arrive in Mljet and soak up the natural beauty of this magical island, home of two salt lakes connected to the sea via a narrow canal. Choose to explore this place on your own, or join the optional excursion to Mljet National Park. Afterwards, continue on to your final port of the day, Slano. Enjoy a Captains Dinner on board. DAY 7 SLANO - DUBROVNIK
After a leisurely breakfast in Slano, you will visit the neighbouring town of Ston. Relax on your own or check out the town's ancient salt production, succulent oysters and mussels, and potent wines with the optional tour 'Taste of Dalmatia'. This afternoon, continue to the final port of your trip and renowned hotspot, Dubrovnik and cruise beneath the famed City Walls. The optional walking tour of Dubrovnik Old Town will take you by world-famous landmarks. Enjoy an evening in the town of romance, glitz and glam. (B, L)

DAY 8 DUBROVNIK
Your cruise concludes on disembarkation in Dubrovnik. (B)
