Itinerary + Map

Day 1 Dubrovnik - Sipan
Departure from Dubrovnik Gruz harbour at 13.00hrs towards the Elaphite islands. Enjoy dinner (own expense) and experience the fantastic sunset in the small fishing village of Sipan. (L)

Day 2 Šipan / Mljet – Korcula
After breakfast, continue to Mljet to visit the National Park - two salt lakes connected by a narrow channel to the sea. Take a boat ride to St Mary's Isle in the Great Lake, where an old church and monastery are situated. After lunch, continue to Korcula, the birthplace of the famous explorer and adventurer Marco Polo. Surrounded by medieval walls, Korcula resembles a miniature Dubrovnik when approached from the sea. Today, Korcula is the only place in the world where the Spanish medieval knight's dance – Moreska is still performed. On arrival, enjoy a walk through the streets of the old town built in the shape of a fish bone and visit the numerous konobas/ taverns, restaurants, cocktail bars or night-clubs located within and around the city walls. Overnight in Korcula. (B, L)

Day 3 Korcula – Vis
Weather permitting, this morning head towards Bisevo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. Continue towards the island of Vis which due to its unique geographical position, was a strategic harbour for the navy and was closed to the public until recently. Because of this isolation, Vis has a special charm as ‘the Mediterranean as it once was.’ Overnight in the town of Vis, situated on the northern side of the island, developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia. (B, L)

Day 4 Vis – Hvar
Your next destination is the island of Scedro where you will have time to relax and refresh in the clean, crystal blue water. After lunch depart to Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, a favourite destination for jet setters!. There you can find the Renaissance Cathedral with its original tower; and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. (B, L)

Day 5 Hvar - Bol (Brac) – Makarska
This morning after breakfast continue to Brac, more precisely to the town of Bol, a typical Dalmatian fishermen's village. Bol is best known for its famous Zlatni Rat beach (Golden Horn), a natural phenomenon that changes shape with tide and wind. The promenade walk (about 2 hours) from Bol takes you to the highest peak in the Adriatic islands – Vidova Gora. After a stop for swimming continue towards Makarska which has many restaurants and bars and interesting beach promenade. Enjoy the magic of this central spot on the Makarska Riviera, and be sure to take a walk along the city streets – with their abundance of churches and other cultural sites. Overnight in port. (B, L)

Day 6 Makarska - Pucisca – Omis
This morning head towards Pucisca on the island of Brac and experience the village’s authentic Mediterranean architecture and rustic ambience. Here you will have the opportunity to visit a Stone-masonry workshop, one of the few Stone-masonry workshops left in Europe. Continue to Omis, a picturesque town surrounded by steep rocky cliffs, where the River Cetina flows into the Adriatic Sea, ideal for river rafting on the streams of the river. Overnight in port. (B, L)

Day 7 Omis – Split
This morning cruise to Split, a city under UNESCO protection, where on arrival you may join a guided tour of Split's old city centre and 1,700 year old Diocletian's Palace. Overnight in Split. (B, L)

Day 8 Split
After breakfast, say goodbye to the crew and your new friends on disembarkation. (B)
