Day 1 Split
Your cruise commences with a transfer from the airport or your hotel to your ship. Embarkation is from 12.00hrs. After settling in to your cabin, meet your fellow passengers and cruise manager for a welcome drink, and then venture out to explore the Roman architecture city of Split.
Day 2 Split - Bol - Stari Grad/Hvar
This morning, join a walking tour of Split, which shows you the historic inner city built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, it's Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. Cruise to Bol, a small town on Brac island where you can swim at the Golden Horn and enjoy the long golden pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. Afterwards head towards Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jetset. Overnight at Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe. (B, D)
Day 3 Stari Grad/Hvar - Hvar - Vis
Cruise to the town of Hvar where you will embark on a sightseeing tour featuring the first public theatre in Europe, the Franciscan Monastery and many more historical sights. Continue to Vis, which has spent much of its recent history serving as strategic Yugoslav naval base. The island was closed to the public from the 1950’s until 1989, with the isolation preserving the island from development. Enjoy a sightseeing tour before a free evening to explore the islands beautiful sights including the remains of the Roman thermal place, the City Museum, or the towns beautiful waterfront. (B, L)
Day 4 Vis - Vela Luka
This morning enjoy a spectacular scenery while you cruise to the island of Korcula, considered the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. After lunch on board, disembark in Vela Luka and take a Korcula island tour including a visit to the Olive Oil factory, Barilo Ethno Museum and the local winery to taste some local wine and cheese. Return to your ship and enjoy the evening at leisure. (B, L)
Day 5 Vela Luka – Korcula Town
Enjoy a relaxing morning swimming, then cruise towards Korcula Town. Upon arrival take a walking tour through its narrow and cobbled streets; and visit the majestic Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St Mark. Your evening is free to discover the town and enjoy dinner on your own at one of the many local restaurants. (B, L)
Day 6 Korcula - Mljet
Today you cruise to Mljet Island famous for the Mljet National Park featuring five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes. This lovely island was supposedly a favourite holiday spot for the Greek hero Ulysses. Here, you have free time to explore the National Park, for example, by renting bikes and cycling or jogging on the numerous paths around the lakes or in the forests. If you feel like just relaxing you can hop onto the small boat that will take you to a tiny island on one of the lakes, where you can discover a monastery and a church of St. Mary’s built in the 12th century. Tonight enjoy a Captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board. (B, L, D)
Day 7 Mljet - Dubrovnik
This morning cruise to Dubrovnik, considered the 'Pearl of the Adriatic.' Impressive 13th century defence walls enclose its UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town which centres around its main the thoroughfare, the Stradun. Join a guided sightseeing tour of this historic city, where you will visit Rector’s Palace and the Franciscan Monastery’s pharmacy. The remainder of the afternoon and evening are at leisure for you to continue your exploration. (B, L)
Day 8 Dubrovnik
Your tour concludes with a departure transfer for your onward journey. (B)
