Captivating Croatia 2020 (Dubrovnik - Omis)

DAY 1 DUBROVNIK
Welcome to Dubrovnik! Embarkation is from 14.00hrs. Over a welcome drink and snack get to know your Cruise Director, crew and fellow travellers. Enjoy dinner on board and an evening at leisure. (D)

DAY 2 DUBROVNIK – SLANO
Time this morning to explore Dubrovnik’s fortified Old Town on a guided walking tour where your local expert will show you around this fascinating world-known landmark, an ancient town protected by 13^th century fortifications. Impressive city walls enclose the medieval city centre and main street, the Stradun, around which you can see beautiful architectural buildings which combine Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style in unique harmony.
Afterwards, cruise to the quaint seaside settlement Slano where you will be able to join an optional Taste of Dalmatia Tour to Ston, known for its potent wines, ancient salt production and succulent mussels and oysters. (to be paid locally). (B, L)

DAY 3 SLANO – MLJET – KORCULA
Enjoy breakfast on board before arriving to the green Island of Mljet. Discover the beauty of Mljet National Park during free time this morning by renting bikes, cycling or jogging on the numerous paths around the lakes and forests. You may wish to walk take a boat ride to the Benedictine Abbey and Church of St. Mary. After cruise toward Korcula with a stop for a swim along the way. Arrive on Korcula and join a guided walking tour or explore the town known as the birthplace of renowned traveller Marco Polo on your own. Enjoy an evening at leisure to dine at one of the many sea front restaurants. (B, L)

DAY 4 KORCULA – HVAR – VIS
This morning enjoy breakfast as we cruise towards Hvar, Croatia's most popular island. Besides being the sunniest Croatian island, Hvar is a regular meeting point for the international jet-set. Upon arrival, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of this unique town where you will be introduced to the islands history, culture and way of life. In the afternoon cruise to the island of Vis. Used as an important military stronghold for years, the architecture and beaches of Vis remained relatively untouched. Dinner on board and overnight in Vis. (B, D)

DAY 5 VIS – SIBENIK
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Vis to explore the islands beautiful sights including the remains of the Roman thermal place, the City Museum, or the towns beautiful waterfront. Join an optional guided tour to get an insight into the tumultuous history of vis. Continue cruising to the mainland city of Sibenik, the oldest native Croatian city on the Adriatic. Discover this historic and beautiful city at the mouth of the Krka River on a guided walking tour. (B, L)

DAY 6 SIBENIK – KRKA – SKRADIN – SPLIT
Travel to Skradin, the entrance to the beautiful Krka National Park. On your walking tour wander along the footpaths surrounding the waterways and waterfalls before travelling to the historic city of Trogir, famous for its Romanesque and Renaissance architecture. Your final port of call today is Split where you can explore the city on your own or embark on a guided city walk to discover this 1,700 year old World Heritage listed city and its famous Diocletian’s Palace. Enjoy dinner on board and an evening at leisure in Split. (B, D)

DAY 7 SPLIT – PUCISCA – OMIS
Your voyage continues to Pucisca on the island of Brac to visit the famous Stonemasonry School. The limestone has been used on many famous buildings such at the White House in Washington and Bundstag in Berlin. Embark on a tour to the Stonemasonry School in Pucisca where you can learn more about the shaping of this stone. Continue to ancient Omis, once notorious due to the pirates of Omis whose ships were a centuries-long symbol of retaliation, courage and strength. Discover at leisure the remaining legacies of those famous days. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure or join an optional Cetina River canyon boat excursion. (B, L)

Your cruise concludes after breakfast on disembarkation in Omis. (B)
