Journey through 3 of Southern Europe’s most fascinating countries on this wonderful 11-day tour of Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. Explore Croatia’s picturesque Dalmatian Islands on a 7-night cruise departing from Dubrovnik with overnight stays in the popular harbours of Korcula and Hvar. Continue by land to northern Croatia where you will visit Plitvice Lakes, Opatija and the stunning Postojna Caves in Slovenia before ending the cruise-tour in the “Floating City” of Venice.
DAY 1 CRUISE: Dubrovnik
Welcome to Dubrovnik, the "Pearl of the Adriatic"! Your cruise commences with an airport arrival transfer for embarkation from 14.00hrs. Once settled in your cabin, join a guided walking tour at 17.00hrs of the historical centre of Dubrovnik. Walk down the Stradun - both a street and a square - and be transported to the sets of your favourite movies and TV shows such as Game of Thrones. Your guide will show you the most interesting sites of this UNESCO World Heritage listed town including the Rector’s Palace, the Bell Tower Clock, Sponza Palace and the Franciscan Monastery which houses one of the world’s oldest pharmacies. Afterwards, return to the ship for welcome reception where you can get acquainted with your Tour Manager, crew, and fellow travellers. This will be followed by a Welcome Dinner to kick-start your adventures through the Adriatic.

DAY 2 CRUISE: Dubrovnik - Slano
Begin the day with an unforgettable experience cruising alongside the incredible Dubrovnik city walls before continuing to one of the Elaphiti Islands for a swim stop. Later in the afternoon, arrive in Slano, a quaint fishing village on the mainland. From here, embark on your excursion to Ston and visit an oyster farm where you will learn more about oysters and enjoy a tasting of this delicious local treat. Return to Slano for the Captain's Dinner on board.

DAY 3 CRUISE: Slano - Mljet - Korcula
This morning, head north towards the island of Mljet where you will be able to walk to the National Park escorted by your cruise manager. Discover its famous salt lakes, and spend the morning swimming or hiring a bike, kayak, or scooter to explore the park further at your leisure. After, make your way to the island of Korcula, also known as the "Black Island“ due to the distinct, almost black pine forests that cover much of the island. Upon arrival, embark on a guided walking tour of Korcula town, one of the best-preserved medieval cities, and discover its fishbone streets and the town’s connection to famed explorer Marco Polo. The evening is then free to experience the numerous restaurants and bars in and around Old Town.

DAY 4 CRUISE: Korcula - Hvar
Leave Korcula behind and head towards the island of Hvar, supposedly the sunniest island in the Adriatic, characterised by mild winters and warm summers. Take a break along the way for a spot of swimming and enjoy lunch on board before arriving in Hvar Town. On disembarkation commence your guided walking tour and visit the many historical sites in Old Town such as St. Stephen’s Square and Cathedral and the Arsenal which houses the oldest community theatre in Europe. Your evening is then free to explore the town further at your leisure. Perhaps you’d like to visit the impressive Spanish Fortress which offers magnificent panoramic views over Hvar harbour and Pakleni Islands. In the evening you will find many dining options that line the rustic cobblestoned streets and offer a lively atmosphere.
Please note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor (during peak season) port of all can be substituted for Stari Grad. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar. Grad.

DAY 5 CRUISE: Hvar - Bisevo - Vis
Early this morning, cruise to Bisevo where you can visit the Blue Cave. A highlight of any visit in Dalmatia, this magnificent natural phenomenon can only be viewed by boarding a smaller boat to enter through a narrow opening. Be rewarded with an ethereal experience as the cave is illuminated with a turquoise-blue glow. After, cruise to Vis, an ex-naval strategic base that had been closed to the public for years with the isolation preserving the beauty of the island. Please note: Visit to Blue Cave is dependent on weather conditions as sometimes high tide can prevent entry. Your Captain will advise the conditions and accessibility the morning of scheduled visit.

DAY 6 CRUISE: Vis - Brac
Continue your cruise towards Milna on the Island of Brac with a swim stop in one of pristine bays enroute. After lunch on board, disembark in Milna and join a visit to the Olive Oil Museum where you will hear about the island’s traditions and history whilst sampling traditional homemade olive oil. Overnight in the town of Milna.

DAY 7 CRUISE: Brac - Split - Trogir
Today, you will return to the mainland and towards the historic settlement of Trogir. Savour one final swim stop along the way. Lunch will be served on board before your arrival into Trogir where a short orientation walk will take you through this UNESCO listed medieval city. Sometimes referred to as a “floating museum town“, within Trogir’s fortified walls you find masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces and stone dwellings. In the afternoon travel by motorcoach to Split for a guided tour that will take you through this vibrant city that has evolved from the ruins of the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace. You will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral and waterfront promenade. Enjoy free time in Split to explore on your own before transferring back to your ship in Trogir.

DAY 8 Trogir - Plitvice Lakes National Park - Opatija
Say goodbye to your crew as you disembark after breakfast. Your adventure then continues by motorcoach with a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. In Plitvice, take a walk around several of the lower lakes, admiring the park’s 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After, continue to the seaside resort town of Opatija where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 9 Opatija - Postojna - Venice
After breakfast, travel to Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Caves, one of the largest cave systems in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train before driving towards the "Floating city", Venice. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore this picturesque city before gathering for a group dinner with your tour manager and fellow travellers.

Day 10 Venice
Start your day exploring Venice with a boat ride to Murano Island, renowned for its long tradition of glass-making. Here, you'll visit a glassblowing factory to witness this Venetian tradition integral to the regions culture and history. Watch as a master craftsmen skilfully presents a glassblowing demonstration. Afterwards, head to St. Mark's Square and join a walking tour, passing through St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy Venice at your own pace, shop, or join an optional gondola ride.
